"Children in India do not need sympathy – they need help." It was with these words in mind that the artist and painter, Gerdi Gutperle, founded the Gerdi Gutperle Foundation with her husband, the entrepreneur, Werner Gutperle, in 2002.

The purpose of the Foundation is to improve the quality of life for sick children in India. Or, as is more often the case, any kind of life whatsoever.

In order to finance her Foundation, Gerdi Gutperle is setting a good example; all of the proceeds from the sale of her paintings are used for the purposes of the Foundation. But just as any other charitable organisation the Gerdi Gutperle Foundation is pleased to receive other financial support from, for example, donations.
